To celebrate the NFT revolution taking place globally, we will be giving recognition to the top 30 countries that are at the forefront of this development. We identified countries with the most active NFT users by comparing their population to their engagement on the largest NFT marketplaces (OpenSea, Mintable, Rarible).
This is an NFT collection with 100 NFTs that represents the top 30 countries, proportionally to their activity (i.e. countries with a greater activity will have more NFTs with their attributes).
Jimmy Pedron (aka Eli Navarro) was born in Caracas, Venezuela in the early 60s.
He is not an artist with formal education in fine arts. He remembers, when he was a kid, everybody was amazed with his innate skills to draw. But his parents never considered their young child to continue an artistic career. In Latin America, art back in the day, and even now, was not really considered a job. People say artists die hungry.
He continued drawing as a hobby, reading comics and trying to achieve the amazing artworks as Jim Lee or Brian Bolland.
Beyond a short advertising art course, he considers himself a self taught artist.
After many years working as an air traffic controller, he decided to retire 7 years ago and he began his activities as a freelancer.
This new experience allows me to show my work to people from everywhere, and realize after reading their comments that there is some good in my illustration skills after all. My father taught me that if I was going to do something I should do it well, otherwise it would be better not to do it.
